Kevin McCloud was wowed by interior designer Nicky Dobree’s chalet, Ferme de Moudon, exclaiming that it was “like something from a James Bond set” when it featured on Grand Designs.

The location is perfect, too: the chalet stands apart from other buildings in woods, nestled at the end of a quiet track, and the views through the vast windows of the main living space are of snowy pines and mountain wilderness. The perfect Christmas family treat.
