Highest resort is in the Indian Garwhal: Auli -?a large high-altitude hotel complex at 3049m

?Would come in at #3 if you count the Patriot Hills Airforce Base, for skiing in the Vinson Massif, with its runway?at 2800m

4. N America's ?

Highest is ostensibly 'Sunshine Village' in Banff, Canada at 2729m (though this was much contested and difficult?to ascertain with other claimants)

5. Africa's?

Highest resort seems to be Tiffendell in South Africa, which also boasts the highest pub at 2720m (though more info was hard to come by on the Morocco station of Oukaimeden, which?has lifts up to 3268m!)

6. Europe's ?

Highest resort is widely recognized to be Val Thorens?in France, at 2300m (with the highest lift being in Zermatt, at Klein Matterhorn 3899m)

7. Australasia's

?Highest appears to be Australias' Charlotte Pass,?at 1760m. (the NZ resort of Turoa has lifts up to 2322m, but the resort is situated at only 1600m)
