ONE: Goodbye, au revoir, auf Wiedersehen
By staying in one of our luxury catered ski chalets, that circular village ski bus will be a thing of the past. With your chalet chauffeur having already loaded all your skiing paraphernalia into the boot of your dedicated vehicle, there will be no more mornings spent scrambling onto a crowded bus. Enjoy the next three most unhurried minutes of your morning. Even with children in tow.
TWO: In the heart of things
For some of our friends, being in the heart of the village centre is crucial. We understand it all depends on your group dynamics and what you would like from your favourite week. However, for many, nothing beats the charming idyll that comes from your own snow covered Alpine meadow and unobstructed vistas of the peaks beyond. With your dedicated chauffeur at hand, you never need to worry about your ski chalet’s location.
THREE: All eventualities covered
Mornings aren’t always the smoothest starts to your day when you are on a ski holiday. There are so many little things to remember and so many pockets to lose things in. For a full day on the mountain, you want to be prepared but there is inevitably something left bedraggled in the boot room. However, not when your knight in shining VW armour arrives. With seat pockets jam packed with piste maps, water, lip balms, tissue packs and ski snacks, getting to the slopes on time has never been easier. Just don’t forget your lift pass.
FOUR: The ultimate convenience
Even a ski-in ski-out chalet means getting snow on your feet as soon as you step outside of your boot room door. How about if we said that our chauffeur service will be parked right outside your luxury chalet, with skis and boots already loaded, ready for you to just step inside. With many luxury chalets boasting a heated driveway, you may not even need to lay your feet onto the snow until you are dropped at the piste. How convenient.
FIVE: Time is your luxury
These are your favourite days of the year for reason. Those magical days where you can forget about meetings and agendas. Those in the group having lessons will be picked up with plenty of time to spare. However, if you would prefer a more leisurely morning, enjoy taking that cup of coffee back to bed. Your chauffeur will gladly take you into town for a spot of retail therapy or to meet the others for lunch later. Equally if the winter chill sets in, return early to the chalet to warm up and indulge in afternoon tea. You know who to call.
SIX: Ideal for little legs
When taking your children skiing for the first time, there is often the preconceived idea that nothing can beat ski-in ski-out. However, the reality is that for children learning to ski, it’s rare that your chalet will be on the perfect piste to enable little legs to ski back home all the way to the boot room door. There will be a far greater chance of enjoying tomorrow if they can manoeuvre their way down the slopes they have come to know with their instructor, safe in the knowledge that they can then be swiftly driven home to warm up.
SEVEN: Non-skiers be reassured
When you have non-skiers in your party, any location other than central is often of concern. No-one wants to feel isolated when the rest of the party are out all together enjoying the pistes. Just because they don’t hanker after clicking into skis, it doesn’t mean that their day is of any less importance. Please be reassured that the chauffeur service isn’t just available to the skiers in the group. With a raft of non-skiing activities available in resort, your chauffeur will happily ensure they are taken to their activity of choice.
EIGHT: Ultimate parent points
Your teenagers are constantly striving for independence and with the reassurance of a highly trained professional chauffeur, trust them to venture into town of an afternoon or after supper. Just let the chalet team and the kids know a pre-arranged pick up time and point and you can settle in for the evening, safe in the knowledge that they will be returned home safely. With your peace of mind intact and their independence levels ramped up a few degrees, what more could you ask for?
