Val Thorens

Val Thorens, at 2300m is the highest ski resort in Europe so as snow-sure as you can get. This used to be a resort dominated by high rise (for a ski resort - we're not talking New York !) apartment blocks but over the last few years it has undergone a dramatic makeover - it is now much prettier with a fantastic selection of great restaurants, 4 and 5* hotels and increasingly beautiful luxury chalets.
